Special Emergency Response Team (S.E.R.T)

The Special Emergency Response Team or SERT is made up of 7 officers who are trained for special/high-risk situations.  Such as, alarm distress calls, stolen vehicle recovery, and tactical situation (building entry). We respond to all situations that require specialized training or that is high-risk. 

All SERT members are certified in First Aid, CPR & A.E.D. Additionally, they are trained in basic Fire Safety, Bomb Searching (evacuating buildings, instructions to people, decision making and bomb searching), Conflict Resolution techniques, Tactical Defensive Driving, Self-Defense and undergo extensive firearms training.  

The SERT helps support our clients by utilizing its specially trained personnel during special situations.  The goal of Homeland Security Services Limited is to limit the response time to dangerous situations, limit property loss and save lives and the unique skills offered by the members of the SERT unit help accomplish that goal.
